Course Summary

Epilepsy and optometric patients – Shelley Wagstaff & Bob Wilkes (9:40)

Epilepsy Action is a member-led organisation which, amongst other things, raises awareness about the condition and provides advice to healthcare professionals. Bob Wilkes interviews Shelley Wagstaff, their Advice and Information Services Manager, about issues for optometrists to consider when dealing with patients with epilepsy. It’s important for optometrists to know what to do if a patient has an epileptic seizure in their practice, and Shelley talks to Bob about this and other topics related to the condition.
