This recorded lecture by Dr Aleksandra Mankowska presents four case studies of patients with binocular vision problems. For each case the presenting symptoms, appropriate clinical assessment and management options are discussed, providing optometrists with an overview of common binocular vision problems and how to manage them in practice.
The cases cover children and adult patients that present commonly in community practice, as follows:
- A 14-year-old with convergence insufficiency or convergence weakness
- The refractive management of strabismus in a young patient
- The refractive management of amblyopia in a child
- A 48-year-old presenting with BV anomalies and nystagmus requiring neurological investigation.
Please refer to the Q&A link underneath each case study, where Dr Mankowska has answered questions from the live webinar.
At the end of the course you can complete the CPD quiz to gain one non-interactive CPD point.
