This one-hour recorded webinar will help optometrists to identify and manage commonly occurring suspicious eyelid conditions. Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon Raman Malhotra covers both benign and malignant eyelid lesions. He also discusses the features, diagnosis, management, and referral of the conditions by community optometrists.

Optometrists regularly observe suspicious-looking lid lesions and need to be able to examine and differentiate between those you can manage in practice and those that need referring to the hospital eye service. The webinar will cover history taking, how to examine the lids, how to recognise potentially malignant lesions and discuss when referral is required.

The lecture concludes with a Q&A where Mr Malhotra answers some of the questions raised during the talk.

At the end of the course you can complete the CPD quiz to gain one non-interactive CPD point.
